Ignore the previous answer I think he/she is just trying to wind you up. what that person (I’m being polite) describes does exist in Tenerife as it does in every city, town and holiday resort throughout Spain, in the southern resorts of Tenerife most of that type of activity occurs in Playa las Americas in an district called Veronicas which is some distance from where you are staying, there are plenty of places to go to enjoy your holiday without going near the Veronicas. Have a nice holiday.

Yah go with something from wal-mart or a store like that. Just to start out and once you are good enough to need better clubs then go on to higher brands at that point. Good luck! your going to need it, its one of the hardest sports out there.
